Jackson Marble Company

Jackson began marble production around 1945 and ended in 1946.

Assurances for sales were not seen, prompting an end to the venture. Production was extremely limited, having only produced about two boxcar loads. They mainly produced Swirl types, but also produced Cat's Eyes. Having similar machinery, suppliers, and dealings with other WV marble companies, along with selling their remaining inventory of mesh bags with Jackson Headers to Playrite, identifications would be very difficult, if not for years of digging at the old Jackson production site.
